Vancouver Personal Training

Ready to Get Fit Once and For All?

Follow our completely personalized fitness program
and get faster results.

Are you:

  • Tired of being tired and out of shape?
  • Working out and eating right, but still not losing any weight?
  • Stuck at a plateau in your fitness level?

If you answered yes, you’re not alone. Many people have hectic lifestyles and just don’t know how to fit any more activities – including working out or eating a home cooked meal – into their schedule. But… our bodies are meant to move.

You may have been active in your 20’s but became more sedentary after settling into a desk job or starting a family. Gradually you may have put on weight. Then as you got a bit older, you may have noticed that the adverse effects of inactivity have become more intense and even debilitating in some cases.

You may even have tried to get in shape a few times. Then life may have become busy or you may have pushed too hard too soon and gotten injured. Or maybe you just didn’t see results and lost the motivation to continue.

Now is the perfect time to change this.

Fitness training may be the solution you’re looking for…

People tend to have better results and stick to things when they’re held accountable. Regular sessions with a personal trainer not only keep you on track with your goals, but also provide you with the guidance and encouragement you need to keep going.

If you’re like most people looking for personal training in Vancouver, you want to see results when working with a trainer.

But how do you know if the trainer you choose can support you to get results?

Did you know that Vancouver personal trainers do not have to be certified? Anyone can call themselves a personal trainer!

A quality fitness trainer has the education, training and experience to support you to reach your goals.

Rest assured – all the practitioners at Wellness Works have a degree in physical education/kinesiology and/or certifications from one or more nationally and internationally recognized organizations. All of our personal trainers are trained in CPR and Fitness First Aid.

Plus… At Wellness Works We Go One Step Further…

We Personalize Every Aspect Of Your Program

A fit body is not necessarily a well body. Optimal health is based on fitness, nutrition, posture and your lifestyle habits.

Our trainers begin by leading you through a Functional Assessment to determine the areas you need to work on. They look for any instability in your joints or postural weaknesses that may need to be addressed. Only then can we create a customized program that will work on your specific issues and your goals.

You may be asking yourself… why does having a customized program matter? Some trainers use the same basic program with all of their clients. If our trainers, for example, find that your pelvis is tilted forward causing too much arch in your lower back, you would need a different program than someone who has a flat back. Otherwise you could get injured.

Here’s What You Get When You Work With Our Trainers:

  • A Functional Assessment along with a Health Appraisal Questionnaire so we know your starting point as well as any issues that need to be addressed.
  • A customized fitness training program based upon your assessment that will support you to reach your goals faster. It will also give you peace of mind as you know that you are getting results for your time and money investments.
  • Assurance that you are doing the exercises correctly and that you’re doing the right exercises for you. This prevents injury and supports you to get the results you want.
  • No more boredom. Our trainers modify your program which creates variety and fun and decreases boredom.
  • Be able to do your program on your own. We teach you how to do the exercises correctly so you can do them on your own and avoid injuries.

What It Takes to Achieve Your Goals

Achieving optimal fitness and/or arriving at your ideal body composition is a long term goal, which realistically takes a commitment of working out 3-4 times a week for 9 to 15 months. You may choose to do all your workouts with a trainer or just some of them. Consistent support is a key factor in creating change.

You could do this on your own… but chances are… you’ve already tried that. If you want different results you need to take different actions.

We look forward to supporting you to achieve optimal wellness.
